The CSI implant has been specially designed to correct and limit excessive flatfoot pronation in adults and children.
Inserted and stabilized by its shape in the sinus tarsi, it restores the calcaneus to its normal position in relation to the talus and forms an internal arch.

Indications
  • Child and adolescent flatfoot
  • Reducible adult flatfoot linked to posterior leg muscle dysfunction
  • Congenital or paralytic flat foot
  • Tarsal coalition
  • Subtalar instability
  • Failed orthopedic treatment of flatfoot (orthotic, soles)
Benefits
  • Conical geometry perfectly accommodates the sinus tarsi anatomy and aids insertion.
  • Progressively softened threads contribute to optimum bone support and minimize edge loading effects that may lead to pain.
  • Implant is cannulated to guide accurate insertion.
  • Set of radial holes to allow soft tissue ingrowth, thus improving secondary post-operative stabilization.
  • Titanium alloy for optimum biocompatibility.
  • Available in 6 lengths (varying according to diameter) for optimum anatomical fit.
  • Implant supplied sterile.
  • User-friendly instrumentation: color coded, monoblock radio-opaque trial implants for mounting on handle.
